ABOUT ICICLE FUND:

Our Vision: North Central Washington is a region where nature, the arts and the area’s natural and human history inspire an appreciation, understanding and stewardship of this special place.

Our Mission: To support the environment, the arts and history through collaboration in North Central Washington.

About Icicle Fund: Icicle Fund is rooted in the belief that strong connections of people to place are built and nurtured through artistic expression, imagination, understanding of the past, experience in nature, and care for wildlife and natural landscapes.  As a catalyst for partnerships and collaboration, Icicle Fund helps to nurture these connections and as a result, strengthens and sustains the beloved region of North Central Washington. Since its 1998 founding by Harriet Bullitt, Icicle Fund has invested more than $50 million in over 150 nonprofits that support the environment, the arts, and history in North Central Washington.  In 2019, Bullitt gifted her ownership of Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort to Icicle Fund, allowing her guests to also support this mission through the resort’s proceeds.  For more information, visit www.iciclefund.org.

Our Grant Programs: We value organizations that foster a collaborative atmosphere, connect all peoples to place, and are aligned with the Icicle Fund mission. We fundamentally believe that by working together we can increase the impact of organizations across this region. When mutually beneficial, we encourage exploration of collaborative relationships with one or more of the six Icicle Fund lead partner organizations.

About Nonprofit Practices Institute: NPI is a partnership between the Community Foundation of NCW and the Icicle Fund, providing capacity-building and professional development opportunities for nonprofit organizations across North Central Washington. NPI offers affordable and accessible trainings, workshops, seminars, and other learning and networking events tailored specifically to the needs of our regions' nonprofits. To receive invitations and updates on these events, join our mailing list!
