Requests for Funding
The Icicle Fund provides support to nonprofit, 501(c)3 organizations, whose work advances the Icicle Fund mission, that operate in and/or provide services to North Central Washington. It does not provide support to individuals or other types of organizations.
Funding requests are acted upon at Icicle Fund board meetings twice yearly, in December and June. Proposals are submitted approximately six weeks prior to the board meetings and applicants are notified of the board's action within three weeks of the meeting.
Letters of inquiry are accepted at any time and all letters will be acknowledged within two weeks of receipt. If the Icicle Fund approves the request for further consideration, the applicant will receive an approval email or letter with further direction on the grant proposal process. Applicant letters of inquiry should include the following:
- Organizational background and 501(c)3 status.
- Project description: the need to be addressed, how it will be addressed and the target population.
- Other organizations that will be partners or collaborators.
- Project budget and anticipated Icicle Fund request.
- Other sources of funding being pursued.
Letters of inquiry may be submitted electronically by clicking on the link below. You will be required to register and create a User Profile.
If you experience difficulty, please call Susan Stephens, Icicle Fund Administrative Coordinator at (509) 548-6344, ext. 416.
